Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care in a hospital setting.

Position requires at least 1 year of patient care experience (or nursing school enrollment) and current BLS certification. This role is based at MUHA affiliates in South Carolina with rotating shifts and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of patient care experience or nursing school enrollment.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care and contribute to health teaching and promotion.
