MUSC Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing care under RN supervision. The role emphasizes patient-family centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within MUSC CHS/SMICU. Includes adherence to nursing standards and professional growth.

Requirements include at least 1 year of PCT or patient care experience, BLS, and ongoing nursing education or CNA/related credentials. This is an on-site, regular employment with rotating shifts and 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a .6fte PCT I position at MUSC CHS or 1 year of patient care in a health care facility.
• Active enrollment in nursing school with completion of Nursing Fundamentals or related field; or related healthcare training.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Lead and direct other team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Maintain safety, privacy, and professional conduct; participate in governance and professional development.
