Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patient-centered care under RN supervision. You will perform nursing tasks, assist with care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include leading teammates, maintaining privacy and a safe environment, and participating in MUSC's professional practice model. On-site CHS - SMICU position with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of patient care experience or 6.0 FTE PCT I experience at MUSC CHS or equivalent.
• Active enrollment in nursing school or related health field with fundamentals completed.
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and care plans.
• Direct and lead other team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient privacy, safety, and professional conduct at all times.

Formation

College degree

Active enrollment in nursing school

Nursing Fundamentals completion

Basic Life Support (BLS)
