Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills required to support nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services; intern role for up to 1 year.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Responsibilities

• The PCT Intern works under the supervision of a nurse and performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures.
• Supports nursing personnel with patient care and related services focused on patient needs and comfort.
