Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Emergency Services is seeking a Patient Care Tech Intern who will work under the supervision of a nurse to perform routine patient activities and delegated care procedures of a specialized and technical nature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification in Maryland required.
• Entry-level clinical skills to support nursing staff with patient care activities.
• PCT Intern role may become PCT I after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient activities under supervision.
• Assist nursing personnel with delegated care procedures.
• Support adult and geriatric patients per developmental needs.
