Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking aPatient Care Technician II in Massachusetts to join our hospital team. Under supervision of licensed clinicians, you will provide direct patient care, monitor vitals, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and staff.

The role is non-exempt, with a full-time schedule (40 hours weekly), rotating shifts and holidays; wage range is $19.74–$26.96 per hour, with potential signing bonus eligibility and

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED with BLS certification.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient care preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Monitor vital signs and document observations accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow hospital policies.
