Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate care to patients.

• Administers treatments and procedures per policy/procedure.
• Assists with elimination of body wastes and manages specimens.
• Performs Point of Care testing when applicable.
• Assists in delivery of ancillary services as directed.
• Communicates effectively with team and patients.
• Initiates emergency procedures when needed.
• Functions as a member of the team and supports non-clinical activities.
• Demonstrates competency for patient observation and EKG procedures.
