Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate care to patients.
• Monitors vital signs and records weights/heights etc.
• Assists with dressings and post-mortem care as directed.
• Assists with elimination needs and specimen handling.
• Performs Point of Care (POC) testing.
• Assists with delivery of ancillary services and treatment plans.
• Communicates effectively with team and patients.
• Initiates emergency procedures and maintains patient safety.
• Works as a team member and supports non-clinical activities.
• Demonstrates completion of clinical recognition program for career ladder level.
• Performs one-to-one patient observation as required by department.
