Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients and families with basic care, monitoring and hygiene. This role emphasizes compassion, strong communication, and teamwork with the healthcare staff to ensure complete, attentive patient care.
The position includes education in CPR, skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare, with flexible hours and opportunities to engage patients at their level and contribute to a positive care
The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
This job will be authorized48.00 hours bi-weekly.
