  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Service industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Education provided: CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, Hospitality in Healthcare.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours; good organization; strong verbal and written communication; ability to learn healthcare skills; team collaboration; proactive in anticipating needs.

Job description

The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.

Other information:

12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Compositionwith a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.(transcripts will be verified upon application)
Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Service industry experience preferred but not required.
Will provide education that includes: CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare
