Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant medical assistant training or certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with doctors, clinical staff and the public.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a clinical setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bringing patients to pre‑op, recovery and discharge areas.
• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR; request records as needed.
• Maintain infection control and adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs and history collection.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instrument setups and supplies.
• Support patient flow and accuracy of scheduled procedures.
• Document and track radiation, logs, and required records.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork in a clinical setting.
