Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support the Stroke Progressive Care Unit. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will assist with ADLs, monitor patients, and help maintain a clean, safe environment that supports family-centered care.

Shifts are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; full-time status with every other weekend and three holidays per year required. Benefits begin Day One, with a comprehensive package and opportunities for growth within Trinity

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Preferred minimum of one year direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

Assist patient in completing ADLs.
Demonstrate sterile or aseptic technique as appropriate when performing delegated activities.
Assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to patient/family well being.
Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation and charging requirements.
Complete delegated unit-specific activities.
