Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a non-licensed staff member to support nursing and transport duties across units. You will assist with basic patient care, stocking rooms, and coordinating care under the supervision of the shift nurse.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with mobility, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Training is provided; a CNA/Foundations course background may be relevant for progression.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; in-house training provided for some staff.
• Bi-lingual language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and report basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, urine output).
• Follow physician and nursing orders and prioritize patient care within time frames.
• Assist with patient transport, room setup, and supplies readiness; maintain clean, safe patient areas.
