You will take vitals, assist with admissions and discharges, perform routine nursing tasks, monitor safety, and help with newborn care and post-operative support, under RN supervision. The role requires CNA or nursing student, BLS, and solid safety training, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-first care and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• CNA Certification or currently enrolled in School of Nursing who has successfully completed basic clinical rotations.
• CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Minimum of 90% correct on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes.
• Unit based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• High school diploma required. One year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred with a demonstrated ability to relate to patients, family, nursing and medical staff.

Aufgaben

• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge process.
• Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, height, BP).
• Assists with post-operative care and safety measures.
• Responds to patient call lights and assists with daily living activities.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and assists with equipment setup and transport.
• Performs basic nursing tasks under RN supervision and participates in unit operations.
