Crisp Regional Health Services in Cordele, GA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support licensed nurses in delivering compassionate, developmentally appropriate care and assist with personal needs.
Under supervision, you will monitor patients, operate basic medical equipment, collect specimens, assist with hygiene, and contribute to safety and quality through teamwork and ongoing training.
Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Technician provides culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care. The Patient Care Technician works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs of patients.

Requires a high school diploma in General Studies or a GED state certification.
Requires up to six months of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Requires and maintains a certification in Basic Life Saving (BLS). (If BLS certification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within the orientation period.)
