Responsibilities include registering patients, coordinating appointments, basic patient care tasks, and ensuring accurate records while upholding CVH service standards in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School education or equivalent.
• Experience in professional customer service.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology, grammar and spelling.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Knowledge of basic office equipment.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Medical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English; bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients using the EHR, verify information, and collect necessary consents.
• Greet patients/visitors and coordinate appointments.
• Assist with basic patient care activities and telemedicine support.
• Process registrations, admissions and discharges; manage filing and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinic staff; respond to inquiries.
• Facilitate referrals and insurance authorizations as needed.
