Job summary

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina CNA listing, BLS American Heart, Aegis.
• 1 Year CNA experience; Computer skills (Preferred)
• High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs routine personal care and assists with activities of daily living for patients.
• Assists patients with body mechanics such as ambulation, turning, positioning, transfer to wheelchairs/stretchers, and ROM.
• Performs special procedures as assigned and notifies the nurse of any abnormal findings.
• Documents nursing assistant care provided to patients according to nursing policy and procedure.
• Observes infection control measures.
• Performs clerical duties in maintaining reports and records of the patient care unit.
• Performs other duties delegated by licensed nurse.
