Qualifications

• Current NC CNA listing is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• De Escalation Training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and report abnormalities to the nurse.
• Assist patients into the emergency center and to a stretcher.
• Document information in the Emergency Center record.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff in a clear, articulate manner.
• Maintain patient safety and proper aseptic technique.
• Assist with emergency life support measures as directed.
