Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs, report abnormalities promptly.
• Assist patients to the ED and prep for examinations.
• Document information in the ED record and coordinate with nurses.
• Maintain asepsis and prepare sterile supplies as needed.
• Assist with patient positioning, safety, and observation per protocol.
• Support physicians and nurses in examinations and procedures.
• Demonstrate CPR and respond to code blue situations.
• Maintain clean patient care areas and restock supplies.
