VCU Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, age-specific care under the supervision of an RN or licensed practitioner. The role involves monitoring patients, recording vital signs, and ensuring a safe, clean unit environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School degree, CNA preferred, and AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, with responsibilities including patient safety and effective communication.

Formación

• Must have high school equivalence or better.
• CNA preferred: certification or training.
• Experience in healthcare setting is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct, age-appropriate patient care under RN or physician supervision.
• Record vital signs and patient information per policy.
• Maintain safe, clean, stocked clinical area and handle supplies.
