Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Support role focused on professional and nonprofessional care under physician orders. The role includes CNA-certified nursing support, BLS, and supervision by nursing staff. Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vital signs, patient transport, and basic clinical support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; EKG/Phlebotomy training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under supervision per physician orders.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Prepare patients for procedures and tests; transport when needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient areas.
• Support nursing and clerical tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
