Job summary

Qualifications

• CCHT certification required for dialysis unit (if applicable).
• High School Diploma, GED, or high school transcript showing completion of at least the sophomore level.
• No prior experience required; may enroll in NGHS PCT Academy if needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reports basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, etc).
• Monitors intake and urine output and records values.
• Performs selected therapeutic procedures under supervision.
• Greet patients and orient them to the unit and room.
• Maintain patient safety and cleanliness; assist with transport and basic care as assigned.
