Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to assist licensed professionals in inpatient care. The NST delivers age-appropriate patient care, helps with daily living activities, and ensures a safe environment while supporting teaching and performance improvement initiatives.

Under supervision of registered nurses and physicians, the NST performs duties delegated by licensed staff, may cross-train as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk, and contributes to high-quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Must have one of: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification; PCT program; or Basic Nursing Fundamentals Course transcript.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with therapies and tasks as delegated by licensed professionals.
