Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Hospital Support Tech to help maintain clean, organized patient care areas and support rapid transport of patients and families within the hospital. You will assist with stocking, equipment prep, and coordinating with nurses and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and a strong customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, HSED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient care areas by ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available, clean, and properly stored.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and check product expiration dates to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Clean and prepare equipment for patient use.
• Safely transport patients, family members, and visitors throughout the hospital using appropriate transport methods and infection prevention protocols.
• Provide compassionate assistance and excellent customer service during patient interactions.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations by seeking immediate clinical support when needed.
