Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a PSS Lead to ensure the patient/customer oriented and efficient operation of the PSS team. The Lead collaborates with the Administrative Nurse Coordinator (ANC) to support patient care activities, transport patients and specimens, deliver nursing equipment, and assist during emergencies.

A high school diploma and completion of probationary PSS orientation are required; CPR/MOAB training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 3 month probationary period and completed PSS orientation.
• CPR / MOAB Trained/Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PSS team to ensure patient/customer oriented and efficient service.
• Assist with patient care activities, transportation of patients, transportation of laboratory specimens, delivery of nursing equipment and emergency situations.
