Responsibilities include processing equipment orders, handling patient calls, and obtaining authorizations. Proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook and HIPAA compliance are essential for success in this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical equipment orders and EMR systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Process medical equipment supply orders using EMR software.
• Answer and respond to patient phone calls.
• Submit authorizations for equipment as needed.
• Coordinate inter-departmentally to maintain goals and objectives.
• Reach out to patients as requested by physicians.
• Type at least 50 words per minute.
• Handle PHI in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
