Upstream Rehabilitation in Port Orchard, WA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I to support clinic growth by handling patient intake and front-office operations in a busy outpatient setting. This entry-level role emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule visits, collect payments, and keep the front office organized while collaborating with the Clinic Director to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations.
• Schedule patient visits.
• Customer Service.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
• Make all welcome calls.
• Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience.
• Manage schedule efficiently.
• Manage document routing.
• Manage personal overtime.
• Manage non-clinical documentation.
• Manage deposits.
• Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
• Monitor clinic inventory.
• Attend any required training with the Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates.
• Complete quarterly compliance training.
