Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare coordination or administrative role.
• Experience handling scheduling, registrations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, benefits, authorizations, and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates appointments across departments and specialties.
• Manages waitlists and adjusts capacity to optimize scheduling.
• Confirms appointments and provides pre-procedure instructions.
• Tracks and ensures patient records from outside providers are complete.
• Acts as liaison between patients, physicians, and staff during appointments.
• Processes payments and reconciles daily financials.
• Coordinates surgical cases and OR block time.
• Outreach for new patient visits and transfer-of-care scheduling.
