AEG Vision is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk tasks, support patient flow, and coordinate across the care team. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate EMR data entry, contributing to a smooth and positive patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with on-site work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Experience with front desk operations and coordinating care teams.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; act as primary contact.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider calendars; handle cancellations/reschedules.
• Send confirmations, reminders, and reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter data in EMR accurately.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Prepare charts and documentation before visits for smooth flow.
• Record charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; assist with billing.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules to reduce bottlenecks.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
