Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the program specialty or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient’s entry into and through the health care system as related to disability claims.
• Coordinate and complete all paperwork related to medically-required absence from work or work restrictions post surgery.
• Coordinate patient care services and serve as patient advocate during clinic sessions.
• Facilitate delivery of efficient patient care with coordination of services with the medical visit.
• Create clinic-specific policies, procedures, or workflows and adapt to state/payor regulations.
• Interview patients to determine areas of concern and anticipated needs upon reappointments.
