Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with billing and managed care programs preferred.
• Familiarity with third party insurance verification, authorization and referral procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and triage information needs.
• Enter accurate demographic and insurance information into scheduling system.
• Schedule return, new provider, radiology, and diagnostic procedure appointments.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing education for process improvements.
• Educate patients and families on records needed for complete evaluation.
