Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an entry-level Customer Service / Contact Center teammate in Charlottesville. You will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and referring providers, handling calls, data entry, and coordination with multiple UVA Health departments using Epic and related systems.

Responsibilities include screening calls, providing information, and supporting requests for equipment or services. A sign-on bonus may be offered with service terms.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service or call center preferred.
• Licensure: None required.

Responsibilities

• Answer external and internal calls for UVA Health patients, families and providers.
• Screen calls, de-escalate when needed, and escalate as appropriate.
• Process requests for services, equipment, and information with accuracy.
• Enter data into EMR and coordinate across departments as required.
