UnitedHealth Group is seeking a patient-oriented Registration Associate at Frick Hospital in Greensburg, PA. You will greet patients, collect data, verify insurance, and schedule services in a fast-paced setting.

This role involves front-office duties, per-diem shifts, and occasional overtime as needed. Training is provided with 3-4 weeks of paid training, and you’ll be part of a compassionate team that supports health equity and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service in hospital/office settings or phone support.
• Ability to work per diem and occasional overtime.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and collect demographics, health info, and verify insurance.
• Enter or verify patient data in computer systems in real time.
• Process referrals, pre-certifications, pre-determinations, and authorizations.
• Verify coverage, collect co-pays, and discuss financial obligations with patients.
• Identify outstanding balances and assist with scheduling after discharge.
• Respond to patient inquiries with compassion and professionalism.
• Maintain knowledge of registration requirements for various units.
