The role involves greeting patients, collecting demographics and insurance data, verifying coverage, and processing payments in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts at Frick Hospital and ED coverage as needed. Training to include buddy shifts and a structured program. Sign-on bonus available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in hospital, office, or call-center setting.
• Ability to work full-time including occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in computer systems.
• Process referrals, pre-certifications, and pre-authorizations as required.
• Collect patient co-pays and discuss financial obligations with patients.
• Identify outstanding balances and assist in collection efforts.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate with providers for discharge planning.
