University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, OH, is seeking compassionate Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs) for Day, Evening, and Night shifts across ICU, Med/Surg, and Float Pool. You'll work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to provide safe, patient-centered care, build clinical skills, and grow through our Career Ladder and development programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic patient care skills and effective communication with diverse backgrounds.
• Able to organize changing work assignments and manage priorities.
• Flexible, patient-focused, and eager to learn.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient information.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and mobility.
• Assist with procedures and clinical tasks, including ECGs and specimen collection where applicable.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Help create a positive experience for patients and families.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for new team members as your experience grows.
