This posting is for PCNAs interested in:

Full Time Day, Full Time Night, and Part Time Day/Evening/Night Rotating shifts at Fairview Hospital.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care under RN supervision (e.g., vital signs, personal care, transfers, monitoring devices, dressing changes, urinary catheter care).
• Report any physical, mental, or emotional changes to an RN.
• Help keep patient rooms clean and organized.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA (must obtain if not held).
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
• Nursing students: BLS certification.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician.

Physical requirements include moving and lifting patients, standing and walking extensively, exerting force up to 50 pounds, and using personal protective equipment as required.
