About the Role

This opportunity is for PCNAs interested in Full-Time Day/Night openings at Fairview Hospital. As a caregiver, you will:

1. Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, including vital signs, patient transfers, dressing changes, and more.
2. Report any abnormal findings or changes in patients' conditions to an RN.
3. Assist with maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), to be obtained if not already held.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
• Nursing students with BLS certification.
• Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician.

Additional Information

Must be able to accommodate a two-week mandatory orientation during the first two weeks of employment.

Physical requirements include full-body motion, manual dexterity, and ability to stand and walk extensively. The role involves exerting force to move objects up to 50 pounds and follows standard PPE precautions.
