Fairview is looking for a Nursing Assistant at the M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN! This position is 60 hours per two weeks on the Night shift, for 12 hour shifts, every third weekend, and is eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and more.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and the reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant does not work autonomously but works under the direction of a professional nurse. The Nursing Assistant may be given a patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager/charge nurse.
Provides basic patient care by performing routine duties to include:
Assists the nurse in monitoring patient condition.
Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients.
Transports patients, equipment, specimen and supplies.
Cleans sets up, and maintains rooms and equipment.
Accurately documents tasks performed on appropriate form.
Performs other tasks as needed.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
$22.33 - $27.30 / Hourly *based qualifying experience step level
