Job summary

Axium Healthcare Pharmacy, Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to act as the first contact for patients, physicians and Axium staff. You will review patient profiles, schedule deliveries, discuss refill procedures, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, accurate service.

This role requires teamwork, multitasking, and strong communication. A high school diploma is required, with some advanced education preferred; 1–2 years in pharmacy/medical office is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum; some advanced education preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience in pharmacy/medical office and/or training.
• Bonus skills in listed disease states (e.g., Hepatitis, Oncology, MS, Arthritis, HIV/AIDS).
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a patient-focused customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers by handling calls for delivery of medications.
• Review HIPAA standards and ensure compliant communication.
• Review notes prior to delivery, coordinate with patient/physician insurance.
• Collect key clinical information via NPCC assessments and document details.
• Schedule deliveries and verify payment information; track packages for timely delivery.
