Kids Care Dental Group in California is seeking a dynamic Patient Care Leader and Registered Dental Assistant to drive patient flow and deliver high-quality care for children. This role combines assisting with leadership responsibilities, coaching the team, and ensuring a first-class dental experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active state Certified Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Proven leadership ability with a focus on training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the clinical team’s operations and patient flow.
• Provide ongoing onboarding, training, and coaching for staff.
• Support doctors, manage scheduling changes, and employee reviews.
• Assist with policy execution, hiring recommendations, and problem solving.
• Order and maintain dental supplies within budget; ensure HIPAA/OSHA/ADA compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean office environment and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Assist Practice Manager with staffing coverage and schedules.
• Carry out traditional duties of an RDA and perform other duties as assigned.

The Care Leader is a working assisting position with additional responsibilities that include but are not limited to: managerial reporting; service execution; training; daily management of the team; interaction with doctors; hiring recommendations; and problem solving. The Patient Care Leader works closely with the Area Manager and Practice Manager to ensure that the Company’s Mission, Purpose and Beliefs are being supported and the overall vision is executed upon.Specific ResponsibilitiesDaily management of the clinical team’s operations including schedule changes, patient flow, and the overall delivery of careResolves problems by clarifying the issues involved; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutionsEnsure that Kids Care excellent customer service is delivered and surpassed to each patientProvide regular feedback to the Area Manager and Practice Manager on employee performance and take an active role in leading the employee’s annual review and any disciplinary actionResponsible to successfully onboard and train all new staff, as well as lead and coach other team membersAssist the Area Manager and Practice Manager in the execution of any revised or new company policiesOrder and maintain dental supplies in a cost effective manner according to defined budgetsMaintenance and repair of office equipmentEnsure strict compliance with all company policies and pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc…)Ensure the team is always provided with a safe and clean working environment and that our patients are wowed by the overall appearance of our officeAssist Practice Manager with employee work schedules (time off, call-outs, coverage, etc.)Traditional duties of a Registered Dental AssistantOther duties as assignedDesired BackgroundMust have current and active state certified RDA licenseAffinity for helping and training othersStrong demonstrated leadership skillsCan-do attitude with problem solving skillsUpbeat personality is a MUSTLoves working with childrenPatient focused, team playerExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailClean, neat professional appearanceKnowledge of Dentrix a plus
