Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• CPR Certification must be obtained prior to hire for Mobile Radiology and Oncology.
• CPR Certification is a plus for Fixed Radiology.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to work at several locations is required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities are important.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Perform patient registration in various systems.
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
• May collect monies for time-of-service patient responsibility.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization when needed.
• Preliminary screening of patients prior to procedures (medical history).
• Transport patients to/from the exam room and assist in transfers.
• Provide preliminary and post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and stock supplies as needed.
• Document patient visits accurately in electronic and written records.
• Support clinical staff with documentation and image delivery while adhering to HIPAA.
