Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing a warm and professional atmosphere in person and over the phone.
• Manage high-volume phone coverage and coordinate complex scheduling for eye exams, medical consultations, and specialized vision therapy sessions.
• Facilitate efficient patient check-in/check-out processes and manage patient communications via the Weave platform.
• Maintain patient records with strict accuracy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
• Educate patients on clinic services, vision therapy programs, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Proactively manage the clinical waitlist to optimize scheduling opportunities.
• Perform comprehensive insurance verification and provide clear out-of-pocket estimates to patients.
• Assist patients with insurance queries and guide them through the billing process.
• Manage patient accounts accurately, including the collection of estimated patient responsibilities as determined by insurance assessments.
• Support accounts receivable and the collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities
