The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and capable of handling fast-paced workloads, helping clinicians prepare treatments and manage patient flow with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Healthcare, PT, or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment.
• Comfortable using EMR systems and basic computer applications.
• Must follow clinician direction and support safe patient care.
• Interest in rehabilitation, wellness, or healthcare fields.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, evaluations, and follow-up visits.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and communicate coverage details.
• Collect copays, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and route communications appropriately.
• Maintain organized patient records and ensure privacy standards.
• Support daily clinic operations, including managing patient flow and resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist Physical Therapists with non-clinical tasks and set up modalities.
• Guide patients through basic exercises as directed by licensed clinicians.
• Monitor patient safety during sessions and communicate observations to the PT.
• Restock supplies and support overall clinic readiness.

The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered setting.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Coordination

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and provide excellent customer service
• Schedule and confirm appointments, evaluations, and follow‑up visits

• Assist Physical Therapists with non‑clinical tasks such as setting up modalities, gathering equipment, and supporting patient transitions
• Guide patients through basic exercises as directed by licensed clinicians
• Monitor patient safety during sessions and communicate observations to the PT
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, including treatment rooms, gym areas, and equipment
• Restock supplies and support overall clinic readiness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in healthcare, physical therapy, or customer service strongly preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations is a plus
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer applications
