Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient appointments with attention to time, provider availability, and operatory needs.
• Confirm appointments are evenly spaced and aligned with available providers and rooms.
• Coordinate pre-appointment and follow-up visits as directed by clinicians.
• Contact patients to confirm appointments and provide prep/follow-up instructions.
• Clearly communicate prep steps, financial expectations, and timelines.
• Address patient questions in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Ensure all required documentation is collected, reviewed, and uploaded to records.
• Assist with referrals and insurance pre-authorizations as needed.
• Maintain the appointment calendar and flag conflicts or changes.
• Monitor and reorder supplies to support daily operations.
• Assist patients at check-in and check-out when necessary.
• Support administrative projects and coverage during absences or busy periods.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
