Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will greet patients, guide them through their visit and support the dental team with scheduling and insurance verification. The role focuses on delivering a welcoming, informative patient experience from arrival to checkout.

You’ll help patients understand treatment options, payment plans and next steps, while maintaining a patient-first, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a dental, healthcare, medical, hospitality or customer-service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for helping people.
• Ability to build rapport and positive relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greeting: Create a warm, welcoming environment and make every patient feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Guiding: Support patients throughout their visit, including check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and answering questions about care.
• Treatment Support: Help patients understand treatment recommendations, payment options and available financial arrangements.
• Patient Experience: Build trusting relationships with patients and help the dental experience be comfortable and stress-free.
• Communication: Answer phones, respond to patient questions and communicate clearly with patients, doctors and the dental team.
• Scheduling: Maintain an efficient schedule and help maximize opportunities for care.
