Job summary

Talkiatry is seeking a healthcare coordination specialist to support inbound and outbound referral outreach and scheduling. You will manage referral workflows, contact patients via phone, text, and email to explain next steps, and help coordinate scheduling with Talkiatry psychiatrists.

Your role requires 1–3 years in healthcare coordination, strong communication, CRM/EHR proficiency (eClinicalWorks), and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in healthcare coordination, patient intake, call center, or referrals.
• Experience coordinating care or referrals across multiple organizations or provider networks is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Sales or customer retention experience strongly preferred (upselling, rebooking, or high-volume conversion roles).

Responsibilities

• Inbound Referral Outreach & Scheduling.
• Manage referral workflow by initiating outreach on referrals not yet scheduled and tracking outcomes.
• Manage a high volume of outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Contact referred patients via phone, text, and email to explain next steps and assist scheduling.
• Coordinate scheduling using internal tools and match patients with Talkiatry psychiatrists based on need, geography, and insurance.
• Document all outbound referral activity accurately in internal systems.
