Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Louisville, KY is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Coordinator) to join our team. The role involves greeting patients, verifying insurances, answering phones, and supporting front-desk operations in a fast-paced optometry setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (external and internal) and assure prompt, courteous service.
• Practice urgency with patient and doctor schedules.
• Manage patient flow in the office and check-in/out processes.
• Verify insurance and collect payments accurately.
• Perform daily reconciliations and close out the day.
• Assist with general office duties and cleaning as directed.
