Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as CMA or RMA preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant or healthcare support experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and recording histories.
• Manage and update patient records with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals; communicate care plans to patients.
• Assist with clinical tasks and minor procedures under supervision; administer medications as instructed.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure availability of supplies.

Basic Life Support (BLS)
