Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a PCC II to support clinic operations and patient care within the allied health team. You will help with rooming, vital signs, and medication reconciliation, while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with providers.

The role emphasizes learning, adherence to policies, and progressive responsibility in care delivery. A High School Diploma and MA-related credentials are required, with BLS certification and strong communication essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND one of the following: (1) Certificate of completion or official transcript from a medical assisting program (2) Completion of medical assistant training by a licensed physician or podiatrist (3) Certification as medical assistant through a Medical Board of California – approved medical assistant certifying organization
• At least one year of overall experience (Including external experience) Required
• Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required

Responsabilités

• Facilitate smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
• Perform patient care duties including measuring vital signs, rooming, drawing labs, assisting with medication reconciliation, and other tasks (EKG, ear lavage, etc).
• Handle check-in/out, virtual rooming, vaccine administration, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
• Manage weekly clinic prep, stocking, medication and supply ordering, and timely completion of tasks.
• Handle patient phone calls, prescription refills, and CRM/In-Basket coordination.
