Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with medical assisting program or equivalent training.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or certification per California standards.
• Experience in medical office workflows and patient care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Complete disability paperwork and maintain medical records.
• Measure vital signs and assist with patient rooming and specimen collection.
• Assist providers with medication reconciliation and routine procedures (EKG, ear lavage, etc.).
• Manage check-in/out, virtual rooming, vaccine administration and point-of-care testing.
• Coordinate communication between provider, patient and staff; manage CRM/In-Basket.
